Almond Butter Slices Recipe

Sorcha Fitzgerald, the baker behind FedByS is one of our go to Instagram gurus for oaty treats. This Peanut Butter Slice recipe includes some of our newest products in the shop including Organic Chia Seeds and Organic Flax seeds

Ingredients:

250g Organic porridge oats

60g Protein powder

30g Ground flax Seeds

30g Chia seeds

40g Chocolate chips

200ml Almond milk or milk of your choice

50g Almond butter or peanut butter

40g Raw honey/ agave syrup


Method:

  1. Blitz half of the porridge oats until you reach a grainy flour consistency. Combine the dry ingredients (Oats, blitzed oats, flax seeds, chia seeds and chocolate chips) in a bowl.

  2. In another bowl mix the almond milk, almond butter and agave syrup.

  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and combine until a dough like texture.

  4. Place mixture in a pre-lined baking tray and press out to reach the flour corners.

  5. Leave overnight in the refrigerator before slicing into bars.

All hands and paws were on deck to create these goodies.
